Trouble-shoot New Designs Efficiently In-House
CEDAR PARK, Texas, November 16, 2012 – ETS-Lindgren announced the immediate availability of a new tabletop RF test enclosure, the Model 5201, designed for testing wireless devices in a development, production, and/or quality assurance environment. The self-contained portable test cell may also be used for other applications, including 802.11 A, B, G and N devices, Bluetooth, Zigbee, RFID, 3G, WiMAX and LTE. Typical isolation provided is -80 dB over frequency; performance is 700 MHz to 6 GHz. The Model 5201 is fully lined with ETS-Lindgren’s durable, non-hygroscopic FlexSorb™ RF absorber that improves measurement accuracy.
The tabletop test enclosure features a dual latch lid with a unique RF seal. Together, the secure lid and the specialty contact finger/RF gasket combination seal result in a high-performance shielding environment. The enclosure’s gas spring lid assist ensures easy opening and the ability to leave the lid in the open position without active support. For convenience, the Model 5201 comes standard with one interchangeable I/O connector panel. Optional I/O connector panels can be provided with a choice of connectors at an additional cost. One Duo-Mesh™ air vent allows for internal air circulation and ventilation of devices under test.
For further information on the handy tabletop RF test enclosure, please see the datasheet on the Model 5201.
