CEDAR PARK, Texas, October 19, 2012 – ETS-Lindgren announced immediate availability of TILE!™ 6 – the latest version of the popular Total Integrated Lab Environment software for performing automated EMC tests in corporate, commercial and government test laboratories. New features of TILE! 6 include the TILE! launcher and test report generator. A simulator is also available with the TILE! maintenance support contract. Users will appreciate a faster launch time, more comprehensive report writing capabilities and a virtual instrumentation feature that allows the test engineer to run simulated tests. This feature especially is a powerful tool as users can run a trial test without encumbering test equipment or lab space.
TILE!’s unique visual interface offers the necessary environment to create test profiles, eliminating the need for additional programming. Ready-to-Use profiles are created in a Microsoft Windows environment with drag and drop simplicity for testing to international test regulations. These include IEC, FCC, SAE and other test standards for radiated emissions and immunity, as well as conducted emissions and immunity. With TILE! 6, over 1,600 drivers are now available with support for GPIB, Ethernet, USB and serial instrument communications.
“At our annual TILE! Users Group (TUG) meeting held in conjunction with the IEEE International Symposium on EMC, we hear directly from users about optimal features for new versions,” said Michael Christopher, Director, Software Engineering for ETS-Lindgren. “This interactive meeting of users and our software engineers resulted in TILE! 6 providing the features users want and need to do their jobs better. We’re excited about this latest version that makes EMC testing even faster and easier,” he added.
