ETS-Lindgren is ISO 9001:2008 registered through DNV for fabrication of antennas, absorbers, shielding, shielded doors and other system components. A quality management system is continually maintained in the form of written policies, procedures and work instructions. The policies and objectives of the quality system apply to all critical EMC Test Systems activities.
ETS management is committed to maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) to control the processes that determine the quality and acceptability of the products we supply, and implement them by means such as: Quality Planning, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement activities. Our policies identify the necessary elements requisite for proper operation of ETS's quality practices and business processes and are consistent with all other policies within the organization.
Three Tier System
The ETS Quality Management System documentation is in three tiers:
- The Quality Management System Policy Manual: This document includes the overall system policies and objectives necessary for implementation and compliance of the ETS Quality Management System. Management has implemented all necessary measures to ensure that its Quality Policy is understood, implemented and reviewed at all levels of the organization.
- Procedures: As a result of our quality planning activities, these documents are developed to describe in detail the internal processes and operations of each function that is required to effectively support the QMS objectives.
- Work Instructions: These documents describe specific instructions to complete a specific task specified by quality assurance objectives.
The ETS Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for issuing amendments, withdrawal of obsolete information and the maintenance of the Quality Management System. ETS employees are prohibited from deviating from the documented requirements of the Quality Management System unless the deviation is documented, justified, and approved by the Quality Assurance Manager in advance.
Quality records including charts pertaining to design, inspection, testing, survey, audit, review, or related results are maintained as important evidence to demonstrate conformance to specified requirements and the effective operation of the quality system.
The ETS Quality Management System has been specifically constructed to meet (1) ANSI/ISO ASQC Q9001:2008 American National Standard: Quality Management Systems-Requirements, Model for Quality Assurance in Design/Development, Production, Installation, and Servicing, (2) EN 29001-1987, (3) BS 5750: Part 1 and provides the framework to allow accomplishment of our quality objectives and goals.
