Med-Vizion LED Lighting and MACS™ Draw Attention at Radiology Conference
GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Illinois, February 3, 2010 - ETS-Lindgren, a world leader in RF shielding, drew attention for its novel products at the annual conference of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago, Illinois in late November. The company launched the new Med-Vizion family of LED lighting products for MRI applications and demonstrated the innovative Magnetic Active Compensation System (MACS™) at the conference. The uniqueness of these products prompted DOTmed® Business News, a leading medical industry publication, to videotape an interview with ETS-Lindgren’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Ben Turner, in order to share information about these new products with its readers.
In the video, viewers will appreciate learning that the new Med-Vizion LED lighting products offer a significant improvement over traditional incandescent lighting. Not only does this green product line result in lower energy consumption, but in much brighter images. ETS-Lindgren provided samples of this innovative product line of wall and ceiling graphic display panels (GDP), ZXR down light and ZXR down light dimmer system at its exhibition at RSNA. The product is exclusive to ETS-Lindgren; hence the “buzz” on the exhibit floor.
The video also highlights the MACS product line and describes how a simple device can improve image quality when the location of an MRI installation becomes overrun with fluctuating magnetic fields due to increased auto, train or subway traffic. ETS-Lindgren demonstrated how the MACS operates in its exhibition at RSNA. As with the Med-Vizion lighting products, the MACS drew attention due to its novelty and relatively simple solution to solving complex MRI imaging problems.
