CEDAR PARK, Texas, June 11, 2010 – ETS-Lindgren announced that it will again sponsor the annual meeting of the TILE! Users Group (TUG). The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 28 in conjunction with the 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. TILE! users and those interested in learning more about this popular EMC lab management software are invited to register to attend the meeting at TUG Meeting Registration. Users can also log in at this site to read or post information related to TILE! software.
After acquiring the TILE! software product, ETS-Lindgren has sponsored the annual TUG meeting to show its support for existing and new TILE! customers, as well as announce plans for continued product development and improvement. “This year’s meeting will focus on the launch of TILE! Version 4.5,” said Roger Hatch, ETS-Lindgren Director, Service Operations and manager of TILE! product service. He added, “We are very excited to show the new capabilities of this software, including logarithmic scale graphing. TILE! now has the ability to graph to a log scale - meaning that a test can start or stop on non-decade values. This is a huge benefit to users. We’ve also enhanced the launch mechanism so the software has the ability to “wait” for an external application to complete its processing activity. These are just a few of the many new features we’ve added in direct response to suggestions received from users.”
A popular speaker at last year’s TUG meeting, Michael Christopher, ETS-Lindgren’s Software Engineering Manager, will return this year and provide complete technical information on the new TILE! Version 4.5. He will review the company’s considerable progress in evaluating and testing the “drivers” created and written in LabView since last year’s TUG meeting. “We’ve made a big commitment to TILE! development and have expanded our support team to quickly perform TILE 4.1 to TILE 4.5 driver conversions,” said Mr. Christopher. “I look forward to sharing this good news at the TUG meeting in Fort Lauderdale.”
