Cedar Park, Texas, September 12, 2007 – Philip Stolle, ETS-Lindgren's Webmaster, shared his considerable expertise and passion for Internet technology recently with a local group of high school students at Concordia Academy in Austin. Intriguingly titled Web 2.what?, Mr. Stolle's presentation addressed the latest technical trends in web services as well as cultural changes in the online computing environment. The interactive presentation also encouraged students to try new tools and technologies.
"It was very rewarding to be able to share my knowledge with these students who will be shaping the future of Internet technology," said Mr. Stolle. "I appreciated their attentiveness and eagerness to learn, especially as technology is advancing so rapidly with the Internet and electronic communication in general."
Mr. Stolle was well qualified to give the students a perspective on the web development environment. As a professional web developer, he is responsible for ETS-Lindgren’s website, a major source of information and communication to its over 500 employees and thousands of customers worldwide. It's no small feat to keep up with the internal needs of the company, the external needs of its customers, and the rapid development of Internet technology. Glen Watkins, ETS-Lindgren's Marketing Director, noted, "We're fortunate to have Phil's talent at the company; he's got the energy, enthusiasm and intelligence to keep us at the forefront of Internet technology so we may better serve our customers."
