CEDAR PARK, Texas, June 1, 2010 – ETS-Lindgren announced the one year anniversary of its popular Calibration Service Plus! – a special service offering a fully customized calibration and repairs management program. The service is notable as each program is tailored to meet a customer’s specific business and operational needs. ETS-Lindgren developed the program to assist customers in managing the calibrations and repairs for their growing number of test and measurement assets. Now, customers can leave the logistics of scheduling and planning for calibration and repair of their valuable assets – including EMC antennas, probes, LISNs, current clamps, couplers and attenuators – to ETS-Lindgren, the experts in the repair and calibration of EMC test and measurement equipment.
“By letting us handle their calibration and repair logistics, customers not only decrease their workload, but can be assured all their assets are working optimally and downtime is minimized. Our involvement ensures the pressure of product failures and poorly timed service is eliminated,” said Roger Hatch, ETS-Lindgren’s Director for Service Operations. He added, “The real plus in this service is our value-added quality assurance. Our lab is the industry’s first to receive A2LA accreditation for EMC antennas and probes. Our open area test site (OATS) is state-of-the-art with its landmark all welded steel 80 m x 50 m ground plane. We’re also proud of our ISO 17025 Laboratory Quality System and our Quality Management System that is compliant with ISO-9001: 2000. Customers can be confident their assets will be well taken care of with Calibration Service Plus!”
ETS-Lindgren’s Calibration Service Plus! is well known for convenience and reliability. Tested in accordance with applicable industry standards, the calibration data is available in any format the customer desires, including USB jump drive, CD by regular mail or as an electronic data transfer. Access to viewing the calibration “certificate” prior to sending a calibrated item back from testing is available upon request. Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) are one example of the high quality instrumentation used for efficient and accurate testing. The VNAs and all equipment used is NIST-traceable. Individual calibration factors and a signed Certificate of Conformance are provided with each calibration.
The ETS-Lindgren calibration team is also well known for its highly trained professionals who have significant experience in the EMC industry. This talented group is supported by ETS-Lindgren's veteran team of on-site engineering experts for assistance with any specialized calibration request.
