Expanded Capabilities Announced for Automated EMC Testing Software
Learn More at Annual TILE! Users Group Meeting
CEDAR PARK, Texas, June 10, 2014 – ETS-Lindgren announced immediate availability of TILE!™ 7 – the latest version of the popular Total Integrated Lab Environment software for performing automated EMC tests in corporate, commercial and government test laboratories. New features of TILE! 7 include a major Graphical User Interface (GUI) enhancement with easier navigation and compatibility with Windows XP, 7 and 8. A reverb enhancement supports testing in a reverberation chamber per MIL-STD-461, DO 160G/F, and IEC 61000-4-21 with all actions updated. The sequencer enhancement provides a new level of programmability to simplify profile compilations. To complete the new enhancements available with standard TILE! 7 packages, a major “Under the Hood” refresh was completed to update to the latest Microsoft compilers, in addition to providing new and better drivers, printing to PDF capability and more.
TILE! 7 users can also now purchase an option to utilize the popular EMQuest™ software as an add-on package in TILE! EMQuest, well known for wireless applications, is used as the wireless communication controller for TILE! 7. The Audio Break Through (ABT) and Radiated Spurious Emissions (RSE) action property editors are also now available as options to TILE! users.
TILE!’s unique visual interface offers the necessary environment to create test profiles, eliminating the need for additional programming. Ready-to-Use profiles are created in a Microsoft Windows environment with drag and drop simplicity for testing to international test regulations. These include IEC, FCC, SAE and other test standards for radiated emissions and immunity, as well as conducted emissions and immunity. With TILE! 7, over 1,600 drivers are now available with support for GPIB, Ethernet, USB and serial instrument communications.
"At our TILE! Users Group (TUG) meeting held in conjunction with the 2013 IEEE International Symposium on EMC, we heard directly from users about optimal features for the new version. This resulted in TILE! 7 providing the features users want and need to do their jobs better,” said Michael Christopher, Director, Software Engineering for ETS-Lindgren. "We're excited we were able to meet the needs of TILE! users and the feedback has been great. In addition to the Windows 7 and 8 compatibility, they are excited by the productivity improvements they are seeing,” he added.
Come learn more about TILE! by attending the annual TUG meeting on Wednesday, August 6 during this year’s IEEE EMC Symposium in Raleigh, NC. The TUG meeting is open to existing users and others interested in learning more about the latest version of TILE! To register to attend the TUG meeting, click here.
