Innovative Anechoic Absorber Debuts at Leading Antenna Conference
CEDAR PARK, Texas, October 13, 2011 – For decades, ETS-Lindgren has designed and manufactured some of the world’s highest quality anechoic absorber material available for electromagnetic (EMC), radio frequency (RF), microwave and wireless test chambers and ranges. Now, with the announcement of the new FlexSorb absorber coating, ETS-Lindgren has taken its absorber product line one step further. FlexSorb offers the same excellent performance characteristics as the company’s traditional absorber, as well as several new advantages. Most notably, the absorber can bend significantly, without breaking. Once unheard of in the absorber industry, FlexSorb’s durable absorber tips actually resist breakage, which is especially important for high traffic areas, chamber entry ways and when using on a chamber floor. In addition, the new coated absorber is dust resistant, easier to handle, non-hygroscopic and flexible!
ETS-Lindgren will launch the new FlexSorb product at the annual symposium of the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA), this year held at the Inverness Hotel in Englewood, Colorado. ETS-Lindgren has reserved the Inverness Conference Room C for its exhibition over October 17-19. Pick up a free sample of FlexSorb coated absorber, while supplies last. Bend it, squeeze it, and see if you can break it!
ETS-Lindgren is also contributing to the technical program at the AMTA symposium. On Monday, October 17, Dr. Vince Rodriguez, Product Line Manager – Antennas, will present the paper, “Quick Measurements of the Radiation Pattern of Antennas Used in Radiated Emissions for Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing and Comparison to Computed Results.” Dr. Rodriguez will also be available to answer any technical questions about the company’s popular RF microwave antennas and turnkey antenna measurement systems shown in Conference Room C.
